Individual Volunteers
WORK WITH KIDS
To work directly with our youth, we encourage a 6-week (minimum one hour per week) initial commitment, so that you can have the time to build mentoring relationships with our Club kids.
Our Clubs are open from 3:00 - 6:00 PM on weekdays. A typical volunteer session can include, but isn't limited to: tutoring, coaching, playing games, and creating art with our youth. Click HERE for a detailed list of available opportunities that you can join.
After completing the Individual Volunteer Application, you'll be contacted about attending a volunteer orientation (which includes a tour of our Club) to discuss our volunteer policies.
ONE-TIME EVENTS
If you're most interested in a one-time commitment, then we'd love to have you join our "Special Events Team" and assist our staff at one or more community and fundraising events we host each year.
To help us find out what events you are interested in please email our volunteer coordinator at volunteer@northidahobgc.org After your initial an initial conversation you'll receive email invitations to each Club event, and then you can commit to whichever event(s) most interest you. At your first event, you'll come 1/2 hour early to tour the Club and learn about our volunteer policies for event volunteers.
Please visit our Special Events web page for information about upcoming Club events.
