Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT KINDS OF ACTIVITIES ARE FOUND AT THE CLUB?

When you come to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kootenai County, you will find a variety of fun things to do. We've got computer labs, art rooms, and sports activities. We also have games rooms with pool tables, carpet ball, foosball, ping pong, and the like. The Clubs can also help you get your homework done and can give you a little tutoring on tricky subjects. You'll also get a snack when you come in after school.

Take a look at some recent photos from our Coeur d’Alene Club, and our Post Falls Club.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

After your parent or guardian registers you online, or in one of our Clubhouses, you will have a scan card that you will use every time you visit the Club. Memberships are available for kids ages 6-18.

Visit our Membership page

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A MEMBER?

There are two (2) separate Membership time-spans:

Memberships for the School Year (September thru early June) are $20 per child.

Memberships for the Summer (mid-June thru August) are $20 per child.

HOW DO I GET TO THE CLUB AFTER SCHOOL?

We have partnerships with both the Coeur d'Alene School District and the Post Falls School District, so most kids ride the bus from their school to the Club. If you're interested in bussing, there is limited space from schools in Coeur d'Alene. Be sure to sign up with our Bus Sign-Up page. Some kids walk or ride their bikes to the Club if their school is really close and their parents are OK with it.

HOW WILL I GET HOME AT THE END OF THE DAY?

Most kids are picked up by a parent or guardian. Some will choose to walk or ride their bikes home at the end of they day, if they live close enough and their parents are OK with this arrangement.
