"Summer of Discovery" Mission

Summer of Discovery is a place where youth are encouraged to try new things, ask big questions, build strong friendships, and discover who they are becoming. Through hands-on experiences, creative activities, field trips, teamwork, and play, we create a safe and supportive space where curiosity leads the way.

  • Field Trips will hosted on Week 2, 4, 6, 8 (even weeks).

  • 1st/2nd grade participants will go on Tuesdays of the field trip week. 

  • 3rd/4th grade participants will go on Wednesday of the field trip week.

  • 5th/Teen participants will go on Thursday of the field trip week.

Members who do not attend the field trip will be allowed to attend club, but will be placed with another group in the club.

Summer Meal Time

  • Meals & snack will be provided at no additional cost.

  • Breakfast is at 8AM- 9 AM every day. Participants MUST be present during meal times to receive a meal. 

  • Breakfast is served in Lakes Middle School Cafeteria.

  • Lunch is at 11AM - 12PM everyday. Participants MUST be present during meal times to receive a meal. 

  • NO PICK UP @ LUNCH TIME ** participants can get excused with prior notice**

  • Lunch is served in Lakes Middle School Cafeteria. 

  • Snack is at 3:15pm- 4:15pm. Participants MUST be present during meal times to receive a meal. 

  • Participants are welcome to bring breakfast, lunch and snacks from home.

Daily Program Outline

  • 8AM - 10AM: Breakfast, Recess, Freeflow.

  • 10 AM -11AM: Club Time - Participants get to choose what activities they would like to participate in. Elementary are able to interact with all ages at this time. 

  • 11AM - 12PM: Lunch & Recess (NO PICK UP).

  • 12PM - 3PM: Age Group Rotations - participants are placed into age groups and move into different activities with their peers and camp leaders. 

  • 3PM- 4PM: Snack & Freeflow: Participants can get a snack and are now able to choose their room and activity. 

  • 4PM - 6PM: Participant choice activity time, cleaning, and pick up time.

NOTE:  BOTH CLUBS WILL BE CLOSED FOR A FULL WEEK BEFORE OUR SUMMER PROGRAM BEGINS. 

 

OUR CLUBS ARE CLOSED FROM MONDAY, JUNE 8th, TO FRIDAY, JUNE 12th, FOR STAFF TRAINING & FACILITY MAINTENANCE.
