Teens visit local gallery to learn about careers in art

Last Friday at The Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d’Alene, a group of teens took a special tour of the art gallery. They were given a scavenger hunt meant to get them looking deeper at the art. There was a full group on the van because this trip garnered a lot of interest.

The excursion to the art gallery was educational and was also a part of our initiative towards career exploration. It focused on teaching youth about the local arts scene, and what it means to be an artist in North Idaho. Throughout the summer, Boys & Girls Club staff is working hard to organize safe and fun field trips for teens to highlight the amazing things our area has to offer. Stay tuned for additional updates!
